How to Bike from Sri Hartamas School to the Epic Playmate Trail in Kiara

    Playmate Trail might not be as big as Kiara’s main loops or as hyped as PCP, but it’s still a solid ride, especially if you’re starting from Sri Hartamas School. It’s beginner-friendly, easy to access, and offers just the right mix of flow and roots to keep things fun. A quick, no-fuss trail that’s perfect for morning laps or a casual intro to MTB in KL.



    The trail entrance is about 500m from SMK Seri Hartamas, branching off the sidewalk and easy to spot.



    Playmate is beginner-friendly, but don't be fooled--the climb to get there is non-stop. That being said, this place is not built for the adrenaline junkie as there are no drops or big jumps. It’s a trail that caters more to beginner or recreational riders.

    The trail itself is mostly smooth, with some rooty sections and punching climbs to keep things interesting.

    So if you're looking for an easy-to-reach trail with just enough challenge to keep things interesting, Playmate is a solid pick. It’s not the gnarliest line in Kiara, but that’s what makes it great for newer riders or anyone just looking to spin their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Pair it with a good cup of kopi after, and you've got yourself a pretty sweet morning.

    Grab your bike, head out from Hartamas, and go give Playmate a ride—you might just find yourself coming back for more.
